The world lost an incredible soul—one whose integrity, resilience, and selfless love left a lasting impact on so many. Among the many lives he touched, he also helped inspire the very heart of HeartMyCare.
Bob’s legacy is one of faith, devotion, and unwavering kindness. His belief in uplifting others is woven into everything we do at HeartMyCare. This tribute is a testament to the man who shaped my purpose and, in many ways, the mission behind Caremiga.
💙 May his legacy live on.

Two weeks ago today, the world lost an incredible soul. After beating cancer 26 years ago, he spent his life battling the complications left in its wake, ultimately succumbing to congestive heart failure.
Despite losing his mother at just 14, he grew into a man of integrity, resilience, and unwavering devotion. He served this country as a sergeant in the Air Force during Vietnam. He worked deep in the coal mines—dark, dangerous, and unforgiving—to provide for his family before forging a new path in sales and finance.
He was a man of faith. Married to his high school sweetheart for 54 years, he lived by example, ushering his wife and two boys to church every Sunday.
He was a friend to many—staying in touch with cousins, childhood friends, and fellow servicemen until his final days.
He was active. He coached his sons’ teams, loved swimming, and was an avid golfer. His score rivaled the pros… if his round ended at hole nine.
He was a man of character. He once jumped through the window of a moving car to save a woman who had lost her brakes. He returned thousands of dollars in cash found in a bank bag in a parking lot. He lifted up a wayward young lad, guiding him through many mistakes and failures.
When asked in his final days his philosophy on living a good life, he answered simply: "Love."
In recent years, he found a deep reverence for Jesus Christ and shared that faith with those around him.
He was an upstanding gentleman, a devoted husband and father, a trusted friend, a sports lover, and a man whose humor could brighten any room.
He gave selflessly, loved deeply, and lived with integrity.
He inspired many and is even the heart and soul behind my inspiration for HeartMyCare.
To most he was Bob.
But I had the profound privilege of calling him Dad.
Rest in peace, Dad.
